Also visit us in the Natural Science section of Medical Illustration Source Book, the world’s leading site for biomedical, life science & natural science artists.

We hope our site has inspired you to stop and smell—and draw and paint—the roses and any other botanical you love! We also hope you will join us in supporting those who work in natural science illustration, agriculture, horticulture, and food service.

We believe in the land! In addition to our membership in art organizations, we are proud members of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. Over the years, we have met hundreds of dedicated teachers, artists, farmers, gardeners, greenhouse owners, conservationists, botanists, chefs, restaurateurs, plantsmen, plantswomen, food vendors, 4-H advisers and members, and many others—all of them making our world a more beautiful and healthier place with the bounty of botanicals they paint, plant, nurture, research, sell, and prepare. If anyone gives us happiness in the present and optimism for the future, they do!

Take care. Take heart. And take a little time to enjoy some quiet moments in nature. We wish you botanical blessings. And we look forward to meeting you soon!

Life’s short and we never have enough time for gladdening the hearts of those who travel the way with us. O, be swift to love! Make haste to be kind.
